Southwest Greensburg Borough Property Transfer Information

Zoning Certification

The borough requires a Zoning Certificate when property ownership changes.  This form can be found on our website. (This is property maintenance inspection of outside of property)

The fee for certificate is as follows:  

Vacant Lot - $15

Single Family Dwelling - $30

Two-Family Dwelling (Duplex) - $75

Multi-Family Dwelling - $125

Commercial/Other - $125.00

Any other not specifically set forth - $50.00

Municipal Lien Letter

The borough does not require a Municipal Lien Letter, but if wanted, the fee is $20 per Tax Map Number. Please note that any unpaid garbage bills will become the responsibility of the new property owner. This form can be found on our website.

Occupancy

If property is two-family, multi-family or commercial property; an Occupancy Permit is required.
